Zinc Nickel

Zinc Nickel

Zinc Nickel coated steel is produced through a continuous electrolytic process, depositing a zinc alloy coating containing 10.5% to 13% nickel onto the steel surface. This electroplated coating provides superior corrosion resistance compared to pure zinc coatings, particularly in automotive applications where the material is exposed to road salt, moisture, and mechanical stress. The controlled electrolytic process ensures extremely uniform coating thickness, which is critical for subsequent forming and joining operations.

  • Continuous electrolytic deposition with 10.5–13% nickel content
  • Superior corrosion resistance compared to pure zinc coatings
  • Extremely uniform coating thickness for precision applications
  • Excellent cold-forming and deep-drawing characteristics
  • Preferred coating for demanding automotive structural components
