Aluminized

Aluminized

Aluminized steel is produced by immersing steel strip in a molten aluminum bath through a continuous hot-dip process. The resulting aluminum coating provides exceptional resistance to both heat and corrosion, making this product indispensable for high-temperature applications. Aluminized steel maintains its protective properties at temperatures well above those that would degrade zinc-based coatings. The combination of the steel substrate's strength with aluminum's heat reflectivity creates a uniquely versatile material.

  • Aluminum coating applied through continuous hot-dip immersion process
  • Outstanding heat resistance for high-temperature environments
  • Excellent corrosion protection in aggressive atmospheres
  • Applications: automotive exhaust systems, mufflers, and catalytic converters
  • Also used in construction panels, industrial furnaces, and ovens
